$2600 as it sits!

-Evo III 16G
-Hacked Intake with K&N
-ACT 2600 Pressure Plate
-ACT full face organic Clutch Disc
-No name brand Manual MBC
-6-bolt block
-Bottom end has under 40K on it
-Top end is freshly cast with 20K on it
-New OEM copper headgasket
-The engine yields 160-170 PSI across the board
-Transmission I just put in along with the x-fer case and it shifts good
-Slightly ported EVO III O2 housing
-Custom mandrel bent 3" exhaust from the O2 housing to the rear axle where it turns to 2.5" and goes into a magnaflow muffler
-SAFC II
-Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump
-Autometer phantom boost gauge
-New tie rod ends
-Stock wheels with brand new Falken Ziex 512 Z rated tires
-APR head studs
-New head gasket
-New T-belt tensioner (t-belt was in great shape when I replaced the tensioner)
-Suspension is stock
-interior is halfway gutted
-4 bolt rear end
-Stock intercooler with stock pipes and crushed 1st gen BOV
-Custom sheet metal airbox that completely blocks the intake from underhood
-EGR blocked off
-Stock stereo
-Balance shafts removed

Clutch seems to have some binding. It doesnt like to go into gear but it does and the RPM's drop and make a whirring noise when you push the clutch in. I'm pretty sure its either the Throw out bearing or the clutch disc. I have an entire stock clutch assembly that I would include with the car along with anything else that I have that goes with a DSM including all of the interior. Car runs great aside from the clutch I just dont feel like pulling the tranny for the 4th time in 7 months so my loss is your gain! I just dumped 2K into this car after paying $2700 for it initially less than a year ago and putting less than 6K on it in that year!

keep the goddamn car. doesn't anyone have balls enough to keep a dsm anymore? I'm sooo sick of seeing people trying to sell these cars when there isn't a thing on the streets I'd rather own for less than 30K.

due to the late Forum Transmitted Disease of car sales, i would like to ditto that, but, i have not been around long enough to prove myself, and am sure there is skepticism about me.
But mark, why are you selling?

I think the problem is people throw parts at a car and expect it to automatically be fast. Then they get discouraged when it isn't. It takes time and a lot of tuning to get all the parts to work together like they should. It requires patience from the owner to realize this and understand what needs to be troubleshot, fixed, and tuned. (Awd4kicks is the perfect example of some extreme patience.) This isn't directed at anyone in particular, more a just a general statement of what I've observed.

Its not about the car being slow or fast. Its about the point of life I'm at. I dont have the time the money or the space to spend on the car that I would like to be able to. I am moving out, I'm getting a new job (career) and I am starting a whole new life. It just doesnt fit in right now. I love the car and to tell you the truth I dont even mod it to make it fast, I just enjoy working on cars.

Ahhh, if you were really into it, you'd make it work. I've been though about 3 huge life changes (college grad, career, marriage) since getting into DSM's and I've always made time for it, but maybe thats just me.

Oh, I love giving guilt trips. J/K biggthumpup.gif Don't mind me giving you a hard time. Just hate to see our dwindling numbers of intelligent local DSM owners. I'm sure you'll find a good owner for it, though.

well if you change your mind it is a red but is now black si 5 speed with a single cam ZC jdm engine and it has about 38K miles, tokico struts and shocks, ground control coilovers, integra seats in the front from a 91, it comes with a fiberglass hood, it has energy suspension bushings all round, it has projector head lights but the glass on them is gone, it now has a manual steering rack but the power steering pump and lines are included, it comes with 2 LS rims, and a set of slicks for 13" rims, it comes with a tenzo R exhaust, and a full 3 inch exhaust, it comes with a turbo kit that is not on the car currently, comes with a front mount and the fual computer piggy back system, it somes with the header, piping that needs work, front and rear strut tower bars, the car needs some body work, but some of that may be taken care of before you come and look at it or whatever.... the rear 1/4 on the pass. side has a dent but my friend and i are going to weld a new pice of sheet metal in...the sunroof has cracked glass but was covered with vinyl so it does not leak....the car runs like a champ and gets great gasmialage....give me a call at 847-456-7553 and you can come and take a look at it or if you want i might be able to come to you....but let me know what you think...i am ausre that there is more stuff but i don't remember...but i am looking to get 4000 out of it...or a AWD talon...so let me know

So buy my car and I'll let you drive it! Well I might give you a ride anyways. And yes I am getting a 1.8T Quattro! I dont think i could live without AWD or boost and its almost as much of a chick\cop magnet as a motorcycle.

wow. i hope anna doesnt read this.

anyway, nice choice on a vehicle there, my mom is looking at those right now. she wants a black one. i dunno much about VW, but is that ths exact same motor that is in the '02 passats? her passat now is the 1.8T 5 spd, im not sure the specs but i think its like 180hp. that motor in that little TT would be great. and yes those motors are great for tuning. companies like Neuspeed make everything you could want.

It comes in either a 180HP or 225HP version. Im looking for a 180HP one because the extra 45HP is not worth the extra 4K you spend. I'm buying used however.

Nice car! Hope you manage to pick it up soon.

BTW, I've got a free tubular manifold for that 1.8T if you want to install it and get me pics. I've been looking for a test car for a while now with no luck.
