Spy, speaking of bench racing, I recall a certain amount of smack “talking” coming from your fingers prior to the SCDC. I’m pretty sure you were certain your FWD would destroy my Civic at the strip. I took the challenge and stepped up to the plate. Since your FWD didn’t make a showing, I’ll take that as a forfeit on your behalf. So now, here you are and here I am. One of us holds the current SCDC title for “Fastest FWD”…and it ain’t you, my knight in shining armor’d friend.
Disclaimer: Yeah, I know I’ve already beat this bush a few times. …but this seemed like the perfect opportunity to rub it in your snoot again. Yes, I know a 13 second pass is nothing to brag about. |

This year I'm laying low due to moving to Bloomington and putting the engine and car together, but hopefully by next spring or summer I'll be laying waste to all you DSM guys in a little all motor Honda.

My intentions for the next year are thus:
1. Fix both cars. 2. Sell 1.8 3. Play with the Laser a bit. 3inch exhaust, straight back, no bullshit. 20g or larger turbo, better tires, and a few supporting modifications. I kinda wanna have a nice highway roller. 4. buy 97-99 GSX and do a 6bolt swap, and have a good looking, newer car for off the line IDB. 5. Keep spouting all this BS about doing shit to my cars. Lord knows it will never happen, because I am broke and waste all my money on things like bald tires and shitty clutches, but maybe, just maybe, I will accomplish 1/4 of what I am setting out to do by the deadline I have made for myself. |

Midwest DSM - And you're laughing because? How fast have you gone so far? I'm expecting 11's. 11.8, 11.5, 11.2, I'm not sure, but 11's I can guarantee. Just remember, that 12.8 was on street tires and a lot less setup than what I have now.
Spy - You're going to be shitting your pants as you go down the track when Garner's car is 5 cars ahead of yours! His car will be ready by next weekend. Will yours? -------------------- |
