An 85!?  I'll run an 85 in my Honda.  Please try to educate this guy.  He has NO IDEA what he is saying.  The TPI didn't even come out until 86, and they were mid 14 sec cars.  The 85s might be in the low 15s.  I'm sure they ran OK when new, but his overweight Camaro is now 20 model years old.  No contest.  Tell him to go find Saturns and Sentras, but to be careful, because an SE-R might beat him.  I can't stand small-minded people.  A stock awd would smoke him.

Didn't we see a mostly stock early C4 at that dyno day put down a whopping 170 some horsepower to the rear wheels?

I dont even think it was that much. I'll put my mr2 up against it ooooh yea!

I'm not sure what he wants to run he was talking about some winding road like he could beat an AWD trough a bunch of curves rolleyes.gif

spy he said that $20 was not worth the risk of what could happen if the popo came by the local race track.

AN 85? With the infamous Crossfire Fuel Injection (think, dual TBI's with 70's computer technology)? Even if it was running right (and that is VERY unlikely) it is a mid to low 15 second car at best.

Hell. My 90 TII has very little compression on the front rotor and I bet I could beat that POS.
