Spearco a2w intercooler setup $500 (intercooler, resevoir, pump, and some braided lines/fittings)

C's short throw shifter $100
block off plates and stainless braided clutch line $20

I'd do 3800 for all. Car is in Bloomington.

Basically all you're going to need a new jspec motor. It'll have the turbo on it. Motor currently has no turbo on it. Tranny was good, clutch I think was a little soft or needed adjusting but still held very well. As well the brakes needed work, thats why I have all new slotted & cross drilled rotors & hawk HP + pads.

Somebody wants to buy the haltech right away and I have a few people interested that I haven't contacted back. If you're serious, let me know.

this car looks sweet. garner, buy that shit so you can drift like ryosuke takahashi on initial D. he's a badass and you would be too. drift king of morton! hawwws yeah!

seriously though, I hope you understand what you're getting yourself into with a rotary. considering your current mastery of the art of dsm tuning, I have no doubts this car will be a big headache, but if done properly, the payoff could be huge.

What all is blown up? The turbo? Intercooler?

Garner - Get the car, shifter, and brakes. Screw the wheels.

No shit. The electronics do not age well, meaning gremlins seem to pop up everywhere. But like he said... done right.. it's something you don't see everyday (I have never seen a TII around here except Spy's old one and.. mine.) Did see a red GTU in Morton.

Yeh i have seen that in morton. But serously if i get this car i hope i can count on dsmcentral to help me out on the motor and stuff. I know this is a dsm site, and i will always be true to my dsm. I only want this car as a kinda fast daily driver and drift machine.

I'd be willing to help but I'm not sure about the RX7 as a daily driver. Might want to have the DSM be the daily and the 7 be the fast car smile.gif

I've driven NA's daily and they were ok even in the winter. Not sure how a Turbo car would be. I mean they are fundamentally similar but there is simply too much stuff, and 80's electronics to go wrong I'm not sure I would want mine to be a DD.

Not trying to be a downer. Just realistic? Of course I could be completely off base.

BTW that one guy in Morton that imports the JDM engines had a ton of S4 turbos for like $750/each. I checked them out before and they were complete.

$1300 is pretty cheap though for a clean complete rolling S4 TII. Better jump on that!

i know a kid with a TII in morton, at least he still had it last time i talked to him. the guy with the red GTU is like junior in highschool or something, dont know anything about it.

i thought i was the only drifter in morton biggrin.gif seems all the other rwd cars are either american or not running, that would be awesome to get that 7 up and running, i wish you luck!!!

Everything works on the car except for the rear wiper. I've used the cruise and a/c on the highway and everything. The interior was in immaculate condition, it still is, just the door panels are out right now and some of the plastic for the speakers are removed, I'll probably put that all back in right now.
