i put my car for sale on dsmtrader....i got an email from this guy and he asked what the lowest i'd take was....i told him 4,000$ and he sent me this....is this for real?

the difference to my shipper for the pick up in your place, i hope i can trust
you for my balance and also you will be contacting my shipper with all neccesary
information needed for pick up in your place i.e the actual weight and exact
dimension of the{CAR ] . if this terms are okay by you, do get back to me with
the following details wicth payment be made out to you like this

i put my chevelle up on a couple of those sites about 2 years ago and i still get scam letters like that all the time.

Hi my name's sir allen frank and i'm a king in Uganda. i've got a friend in texas that owes me exactly what you want. what a kawinkydink. oh yeah i can only pay you in food stamps.

It's defanitly a scam. The thing is they send you a bogus check for your car. From what I have heard.

i've tried. i've got a relative in the fbi and i gave him the scam's address but he said there's not much you can do about it because people change names so frequently to stay hidden from such groups as fbi and junk like that. sorry. just going to have to delete 'em

If this is the truth, then the FBI isn't trying hard enough.

It is very easy to track people down online...even just given an email address.

Theres a webpage out there about scamming the scammers. They are dumb enough to fall for it oftentimes.. and you can make a few bucks off of them.
