I need some tires, BADLY, size is 205/45/16 i dont' need that exact size, but it needs to fit on my stock GSX rims. i want cheap ones
If you have some old rims with tires on them with mroe than 80% tread left i will look at those too, must be bigger than 16" ill take stockers too. I like the 2G GSX and GSt rims. Rims + tire package must be under $400, unless they are name brand nice rims, then just let me know. Thnx...NEED THESE SOON! |

Haven't gotten around to putting them up for sale yet but I have a set of
16" Enkei RPO1 wheels in nice shape with well worn Nitto 555 drag radials mounted. If you don't know what these look like they are the ones worn by the Silver 2G that coompeted in the Sport Compact Car USCC this past year. Nice 5 spoke design. My personal favorite for 1G's but my daily driver 1G is going back to stock so they are now available. Looking for $430 so that might be on the high side of your price range. Should also have a bunch of stock wheels and tires around on hand in various conditions. You are welcome to sort through them and piece together a set if you like. $25 per wheel (tires mounted) -------------------- |

Drag radials are a much stickier compound. They don't start out with 'tread'.
When I first got them, I loved the wheels and wasn't crazy about the condition of the tires. Then I drove a bit on them and AutoXed an event. Liked them a LOT more then. They're not new but they've been going strong so far. If they don't sell, I'll drive them until I see blistering, cords, or the winter hits. Whichever comes first. -------------------- |

What do you have for the stock rims? |

The other half of my first post:
"Should also have a bunch of stock wheels and tires around on hand in various conditions. You are welcome to sort through them and piece together a set if you like. $25 per wheel (tires mounted)" In all honesty, as much as you are welcome to do that, if you can afford it you'd most likely be best off springing for a new set of decent, new, all seasons. If not, and you just need something to get you through the winter and until you can save up some more money, you are welcome to stop in and sort out a set of stockers from here if it helps. ![]() -------------------- |

Stock size is definately NOT 255/45/R16
205/50or55/R16 (not positive on sidewall but other two are exact) 255 tires will not make it onto your stock rims! -------------------- |

QUOTE Isnt' it bad to have two different kind of tires on your car? yes and no. It is not a healthy practicde on all wheel drive cars . I don't remember what part you can screw up by doing this, i want to say the center diff... could be totally wrong. but, many people do run two different kinds of tires on their awd dsms. if you go this route it is important to match the size of the tire, i.e. 205/55/16 as well as the tread life. i know that dan and rob have both done this with no problems. i personallly am not a fan of doing it. -------------------- game over.
