can I run a 255 pump with out a bigger fpr? I know the return on the stock isn't really big enough. thanks

Yes it can be done. I ran that way for 6 months or so. You'll hate it. You'll suffer from studers when you get on the gas then let off to part throttle, the car will die if you get into boost and you let off to idle, and tuning for idle/part throttle will be next to impossible. Some of this can be fixed by raising the idle to 1000, but its really a bandaid. Get yourself a good AFPR and call it a day. I'm extremely happy with mine. They make tuning SO much easier.
