After much though, I'm putting my DSM for sale. This is a 1990 Talon tsi AWD with 150K on the chassis. The motor was rebuilt 8K miles ago and now has Wiseco pistons/Eagle rods and WEB 264 cams. At the time of the rebuild it also recieved new axles cv joints, new stock clutch, and all the brake pads, brake master cylinder, slave cylinder, and new vaccuum lines, and a new 14B turbo. As far as mods all the car has is a MBC, Hacked airbox, the cams, generic exhaust can on some new 2" piping (downpipe back), Optima redtop battery in the trunk in a battery box, buschur rear strut tower, autometer boost gauge, and some 3g wheels with brand new tires on them.
The car runs great with the exeption of the tranny. Its the original transmission in the car currently but I am giving a low mile Laser tranny with the car with a welded differential. The laser trans came out of my old laser and shifts perfect with no grinds. The paint on the car is a year old and is "Moonglow Pearl" in color, its a factory toyota color. Its a dark silver with gold pearlcoat to it. The black roof and spoiler were not painted at the time but were wetsanded and buffed out and shine better than any 1990 dsm I'm yet to see. I have a loan out on the car and a lot of money into it and am not wanting to lose more than I have to but am asking $2800!!! on the car. I'd settle for $3000 if its sold in the next week! I already bought another car assuming this one was sold, so I'm kinda loaded wiht payments I don't know if I can make.... |

Gave it away for $2450 with the good tranny and various other dsm stuff.... Gone up north to a good home. No more DSM's for me |
