My boost gauge is now reading upwards of 18 psi when the turbo should not be putting out that much. It was at 11 psi and no mods have been made to the car since. I was wondering why all of the sudden the boost gauge would start reading so much higher. If anyone knows what may be wrong and why it would be doing this i would appreciate the help. Not only is it saying 18 psi but the car is not as fast as it was when it was saying 11 psi. I was wondering if maybe a leak in the intercooler piping from clamps not being tight enough or if a leak in the bov dump tube may cause this....if anyone knows anything i would love the advise.

i believe a boost leak would cause you to get lower amounts of boost... do you have an mbc? if so try cranking it down.
