I heard there was this tool box driving around the interstates pulling up next to cars, reving up his motor, flooring it, and turning on his hazards once he got up ahead about 7 or 8 cars. Rumor is its a FWD DSM and the driver resembles Tom Selleck, but Canadian. Most people just ingore it and think... Dam those Fast and Furious kids.

I heard that masterhonduhbuilder will be running in the NHRA in an 8 sec all motor Civic in 2006.

I heard that Spy finally got his turbo bolts to stay torqued down, ironed out his fuel issues and made 20G's racing on the down low up in Chi Town against the SWKR crew.

I heard Marcus was on the verge of taking Lisa Kubo's place on the Saturn team.

I heard that Eric's Teal car was so hot it we were going to nominate it as the car of the year, but that too many sorority girls were flocking to it so he asked that the pics be with held as he was tired of having to turn them all down.

I hear a lot of things over here and I'm pretty sure they are all true. More of Nostradamus's secrets to be revealed at a later date.

I'd always assumed they were just jokes that everyone was actually typing out each time. Just hit me today that it was auto-adjusted.

Yeah, so I'm a bit slow.

Oh, and I heard that Xian's shelf runs 11.7. It'd be faster but the stock downpipe is really slowing that shelf down. tongue.gif

QUOTE (spyonu2007 @ Oct 15 2004, 01:47 AM)
Darn. Its a shame that I have a fully built engine waiting to go in.

It's actually still on shelf here. Do us a favor and try not to push it on the pump gas runs for a bit. Remember those 9:1 pistons aren't going to be as forgiving on 93 octane as the 1G pistons.

Although I suppose we might as well start building the spare as soon as you pick it up. ph34r.gif

Give it a bit to make sure everything's working properly and then a few mild runs on the street to seat the rings. Then let her rip.

Sucks to hear you blew (the motor). Good job on getting it fixed quick. I love seeing guys get off their pooper and get poopy done for a race. Last year my entire motor was apart on Tuesday, but I put it all together, broke it in, went to the dyno, and was at V-day (running like crap I might add due to the cam gears set off). Driving around Sat night from 10 pm to 6 am to get miles on the car was interesting...lol

Can't just be constant speed and load highway driving though. Must be stop and go, shifting, varying loads, etc. I just drove around the Peoria, East Peoria, Washington, Morton, Pekin, area. I know some good back roads that are long and twisty, so they offered great break in conditions.
