I think James point of circle of friends is why we are now over clarifying everything we say. or maybe becuase we are walking on the thread of what was a pissing match moments ago.

Gotchya the first time, just wanted to clarify.

I did give masterhonduhbuilder props for his na.

DSMcentral runs amazingly smooth becuase it has had stable strong leadership for a long long time. On this board members, including myself behave differently becuase of the proper moderation that happens here. It is pretty much a no bs site, step out of line, get smacked. Which cii hasn't had either of those. I hope that over time, stability and adhering to rules will help it on it's way.

I don't know Mike personally, but have acknowledged in several posts his hand to Chris.

I will enjoy racing him, as well as yourself over the next season.

just a question... and not meant to be a spark... but would you please clarify in your opinion, what makes or seperates masterhonduhbuilder from this?

QUOTE
But in the last 1-2 years I have noticed the E-Thug attitude and shittalking that is ruining the sport in this and already has CII

when you acknowldedge this?

QUOTE
Even though he has his moments of E-thug'n

it's my understanding from your first post that the ethugn is exactly what is upsetting you and ruining the sport?

I wasn't going to say Mike is an exception E-thug'n but alot of what he does there is some point to it. He was a smart-pooper about the sdm steering wheel, but he had a point in the roll cage thread about specific ?s that never got answered. He had told me about it so I could pass the info onto Adam who has a B16 turbo crx. I asked the very same ? to him Brand? and most important chromoly or mild steel ( HUGE weight difference ) and was it 6 or 8 point? It seemed te ?s never got answered and wasn't responded to well. So yeah he is a smart-pooper. I do think he could cool it on the E-thug'n too I wasn't excluding him from that . I was just saying he does have a lot to offer the car community, once you take away that.

sorry for the thread hijack it was not intentional.

thanks rizz... if it could have been stated like that from the beginning, i doubt he would have been banned, and that we would have had the pissing match here.

i appreciate you taking the time to answer that calm and cool.

i'll take blame for the hijacked thread.

Big thanks to Rizzo for all the kind words and props. It is very appreciated. Anytime you need a hand, let me know. And thank you for the help you have given me in the past. This coming year is going to be great for us Honduh boys.

With all the parts, tuning, research, car building, and other help I've given to Rizzo, Garner, Clark, Winkel, Kris, etc, I haven't charged them anything or tried to make any money of them. I do it because I love it, I learn more each time, and I like helping my friends succeed in their goals. I go out of my way to help these guys even though it might not be the best business plan or good for my relationship with my girlfriend... lol I'm not here to make money. I'm here to go fast and help my friends do the same.

Moushon - We're cool. Everytime I've talked to you in person we're cool with each other and I've tried to lend some advice to help you bust into the 13's, which you did (Congrats btw). I get a little defensive about my car sometimes. My bad.

What I did a year ago, was a year ago, and I don't like to talk about it or brag about it, because it was a long time ago, my car is COMPLETELY different now, and I'm just not one to intentionally go around and talk sh!t. Thanks to all for the props. Hopefully next year I can do a lot better.

I do stir the pot and "E-thug" sometimes. Sorry guys. Most of the time I'm just giving my friends sh!t or being a smarta$$. My New Year's Resolution is to be a better board member. I think we can all make an effort to chill out a little bit on here and Cii. We're all grown ups, but our egos get the best of us sometimes.

Markus - No need to cut it up. I think it has made a turn for the best and we're getting along now. We all had some bent up Christmas shopping frustration we needed to blow off. LOL!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all. Drive safe.

Wow... all that drama. Back on topic...

I take back my statement about Garner being 2nd. He will be towards the back because that ball and chain he now has strapped to his leg is going to slow him down so much. AND thats only if his new wife hasn't pushed his car off a cliff by then. tongue.gif

Blah Blah Blah.Once again I am going to TRY to participate.... I have an AWD DSM that should be at this event and Hell I might even be able to put the woop pooper on you fools with my FWD 2.2 turbo'd MX6 project car. I'm not promising anything cause the 6 has been a project for so long and seems to never get done and the DSM isnt Dubbed the Black female dog for nothing. biggthumpup.gif

It was 1979 with a worthless 1200cc engine. This thing was faded orange with the black targa top, and black trim paint to cover up rust repairs on the fenders. It didn't look to bad with the 235 series tires I had stuffed in, but it still didn't handle or accelerate! mad.gif

Just my opinion, but a burnout contest isn't that spectacular and is a lot harder on the motor than going down the track. If I had a POS and didn't care if I blew it up, then I would consider it. From the FWD burnout contests I've seen the first one or maybe two are neat, but after that its boring. I also wouldn't want to spend the money on tires and deal with finding another set of rims to mount them on. Just my opinion.

I do like the fastest ET thing. biggthumpup.gif
