Very good info!!! Although, I feel as though you've left out some of the essentials.
Interior: Glowing neon tubes beneath dash: 3lbs 3" 8-ball shift knob: 10lbs 3-ply super black-out tint: 1.2lbs #1 stunna medalion for rearview: 6lbs Leopard print seat covers: 3lbs Audio: 3 Orion Amps: 47lbs Twin 15" Subs: 38lbs Sub Boxes: 27lbs 8 one-farad lightning caps: 19lbs Performance: Exterior vinyl graphics: 1.1lbs (and 20hp) Twin nitrous bottles (empty): 16lbs 18" Rims: 40lbs over stock Gy-normous wing (CF): 17lbs I think that these "essentials" should be taken into consideration as well. Seriously, though, that is great info you posted, and very helpful for finding "trouble areas" that need some fat trimmed off. -------------------- QUOTE (gsxracer80 @ Oct 31 2006, 12:41 AM)

OMG how could I have forgotten about that stuff! lol, and both of us forgot to add in those ginormous 22" DUBS. Those have to weigh at least 50 lbs per wheel.
I thought it would give everyone an idea of just how much every little bit matters when trimming weight. -------------------- "I hear he tunes the space shuttle also...and that thing is fast"

Just as a point of reference, according to my hp calculator...
With a 1.9s 60', and a 300whp tune, a 2800lb car will run 12.5, and a 2400lb car will run an 11.8. This is based on rwd, with no mid-track traction issues. But .7s is a big deal, especially when it can be nearly free. I ran 13.4 last year, at full street weight. I'm looking to lose around 600lbs, we'll see how that turns out. -------------------- 2009 Scion Tc

I only pick the light weight ones, the heavy ones give me bad time slips.
