WTB: turbo to manifold bolt Options

Upon making an effort to reinstall the stock exhaust manifold, I stripped out the stud that goes from the turbo exhaust housing to the manifold. Coincidentally, it was the last one to be secured. So, now I have the entire manifold bolted up again except for that one last stud/nut. Now, I can probably get it out with some channel-locks and a mapp gas torch I have access to but, I've got a question first.

Can I use a regular bolt in the studs place so that I have four regular bolts? This is not the first time I've had trouble with that stud and probably not the last. I would rather put a regular bolt (like the other three) in its place if at all possible to prevent this from happening but I want to be sure before I go out and buy one.

In short, I'm needing either a single bolt that goes from the exhaust housing to the exhaust manifold or the stud with a nut. I'd like to buy used and not go to Mitsu for the butt raping on this one and any input is welcome. Thanks

Yes you can use 4 bolts instead of the factory mix.

I'm guessing we should have a few of the bolts in one of our bins at the shop. If you can't find what you need locally, give us a call and I'll verify before you make the trip.

Oh, and you can just have one if we've got it.

Hopefully he isn't covering me from the rear ! I'll make a call down to KOU sometime this week and let you know. I want to make sure I get the stud out first though. Hopefully I can get that done sometime today.

I am not sure where you are located, but Nina's TrueValue (Peoria off of Forrest Hill??) has about anything that you need as far as that stuff is concerned.... cheap too!!!!
