This Domain has expired!

Unfortunately, the Taboo website is down and I was going to use his installation tech article as a sort of guidline when putting my ACT 2600 clutch in. I can do without it however, I was also wanting to do his pivot ball washer fix. In this FAQ he talks about how you can shim the washer ball out a bit and increase pedal adjustment room. The problem is I forget what size he mentioned using for it. If any of you know what thickness the washer he was talking about was or how to get
ahold of him let me know (or what experience you've had with this mod and if you think it's a good idea). Thanks

I did it without the vfaq... didn't hear of a certain size to use. I just picked a thick washer and put it on.

I'm not sure if taboo is still doing business. There's a large complaint thread on dsmtalk that explains more about it...

No special thickness is required.

Thank you for your responses. I assume that you two have had good experiences with this modification?

Yeah, the thikness of the washer just gives you a little extra effective throw on the clutch engagement. No side effects in my experience.

Perfect. Thanks for the help guys. The flywheel arrives on Thursday along with the clutch alignment tool I'm picking up. If all goes well I should have it in and back on the ground by the end of next week.....and then the fun begins.
