Well I noticed a clicking coming from the front end. Seems to happen when I go from reverse to forward, like pulling out of a parking spot. Doesn't seem to be constantly clicking, cars loud though and hard to hear. I searched around and it sounds like it could be a cv joint going bad. CV boots are OK, no open cracks, no grease on the rims etc so they don't seem to be leaking.
Is there anyway of checking them without open the boots? If I have to remove the boots, can you buy new clamps, I assume you have to cut the clamps to get them off. -------------------- 92 Eagle Talon TSI AWD "The Black Golfball" How fast can a 14B go???

I had a similar problem in my old galant. Every time I would go from forward to reverse there would be a loud pop on the driver's side. Problem turned out to be a lose bolt on the side motor mount. Aparently the engine had enough play to kick against something when I'd switch directions.
