Given that lightening a car is essentially free horsepower I'm putting the GSX on a diet. I figure that while it's torn apart now will be the easiest time to do some 'trimming'. Then we'll add the 'exercise' part to its diet once it's running.

I'm planning on weighing everything as it's removed and updating through this post. I'm shooting for 250-300 pounds removed while still maintaining a relatively clean looking daily driver. Not sure if I can pull it off but it'd be good for almost 3 tenths in theory.

Starting weight (according to Edmunds)- a tubby bitch at 3095 pounds.

For starters today- The donut spare. Spare only, no tools yet. 34 pounds!

Door panels- 17 pounds for the two of them. Too bad they'll go back in when the doors are gutted.
