Just testing the waters here, but does anyone have 4 2g 5 spoke alloy or chrome finish rims laying around they are wanting to sell. No bends or warping, some scratches would be ok. Looking for these here

What is a chrome set, with good rubber, from a 99', that were removed at 26,000 miles, worth to you? I am thinking they are worth more to me as spares than you might be willing to shell out for some stock rims...

99spyder you have a pm.

I prefer the look of some of the stock rims over most of the aftermarket ones. Especially the chrome.

I feel the same on stock wheels over after market.... a lot of after market wheels these days really take away from the car..... it's like "look, I have weird wheels...... what kind of car is that??"

Thats why I went with the 3G stockers on my GSX

Yeah the stock wheels most of the time just look like they belong with the car. I like alot of the 2nd gen wheels, they go really good on a 1G. I had some off a 95 with the 5 spoke "cutter" design and they alone made my 1G look 100x better in my opinion. I think the 5 spoke from later 2g's would look great, especially in chrome.

PM returned, I am on limited internet access for a little while (moving...). I would have to disagree with you guys on the 2G stock wheels. They just look too damn small. I did not have them on the car more than 3 days...
