over the past few weeks i have been hearing a clicking noise coming from the rear of my talon while on the brakes, it don't matter if i"m normal braking or hard braking. just from looking at the pads while still on the car they look fine. I'm not a good brake person i can change them myself but thats as far as it goes so i was wondering if any one has a cause what could be causing this clicking noise?

Loud click or light click? Jack the rear of the car up in the air and wiggle the wheels from side to side (you don't have to do it hard), if you feel some play you've got a bad wheel bearing. Right now that's the only thing I can think of. Do you have ABS on your car?

Hmmmm..... Try this. Disconnect the main driveshaft by the four bolts that connect it to the rearend. While the car is in the air, spin each rear wheel and listen carefully. This should help you find where you think it's coming from. If not, your problem may be elsewhere.

i don't think that would help, I only hear the click while braking, could it be a broken brake pad?

But it's only while you're braking?...... Could be a worn down pad, it's possible. Who knows but ^that would be what I would try.
