A little rant about Nena Hardware Options

Went there today to pick up some metric bolts and see if they had a 1/8 metric pipe thread plug (BSPT) for my intake.

The guy proceeds to tell me that metric pipe threads don't exist and why would a car have pipe threads in it!! He says it must be a bolt hole...I explain that it has tapered threads and metric pipe threads do exist. He proceed to tell me that if it's not in his Fastenal catalog (indicating with his hands it's 4" thick and doesn't bother to even look it up) that it doesn't exist and he must be missing out on alot of sales.

During this exchange, he rolls his eyes to another customer...so I told he didn't have to be a a-hole about and walked out. I figured it be better to walk out, since I don't like to through out the f-word in public business and I was close to shoving a pipe plug up his .....

So, if anybody goes to Nena's anytime soon, please look for the short guy with glasses with bulging eyes and ask him for a metric pipe fitting and see what he says. You can't miss him, the eyes thing is kind of freaky.

Yeah it used to be the small hardware stores were worth a damn....now there as bad as the superstores!!
