I have a mbc on my car. I have the bolt adjusted all the way in and I'm still getting way over 20psi at wot. Is there a reason that I can't adjust it in anymore. I am running stock turbo and innercooler also. I t'ed in on the line that runs to the blowoff valve. And ran my out down to the wastegate. Screw is in as far as it will go. Any ideas would help and thanks.

I just put this thing on last night. Always above 20 psi at wot. I have to feather the pedal to get my 16 psi.

Do you have a link to that vfaq? If that's what it says, someone needs to speak up to the guy who owns it. To reiterate what mitsu90 stated, backing the screw out of the mbc lowers the boost, turning it in increased the boost.

Thats right! We're all about helping others out with cars, finding answers to questions, keeping each other warm at night.............you know, that sort of thing.

some aftermarket MBC's are oposite of the DIY boost controllers that most of us run. i have never read the article on VFAQ but i know the turboXS MBC is oposite of the DIY MBC.

and as a referance the reason your car was running so much boost was because with the passage closed (screw all the way in) the wastegate actuator wasn't getting any pressure and the actuator never opened the wastegate. i used to have to think through the process when i first got my car so sometimes it helps to remind you which way to turn the screw.
