there are two wires that are unused if it's hooked up correctly as the device uses 2 different wires depending on whether the car is setup for hot-wire or karman vortex maf's.

you've probably just switched the constant and ignition power sources on the reset issue...

The yellow and white wire are your air flow sensor wires. The blue one is for a different sensor. If you download the pdf I directed you to it shows you that. It also tells you how the switches on the back of the afc are supposed to be set. If it would copy and paste I would show you. But I tried to earlier and couldn't do it.

QUOTE (mitsu90 @ Nov 4 2005, 12:02 AM)
dry.gif  the vfaq  said the orange and pink wires went to the air flow.

If you will notice the VFAQ is for a SAFC-II install=

This is for the 5 knob SAFC. Note that the blue wire is not used, it is a second airflow input.=

Here ya go mitsu90 this is for the SAFC-II. It should be the same wiring as for what I see in my books compared to the vfaq.

The yellow and white wire are for Air Flow Pressure signal. These are only used with 2 different setups. One is the RB26DETT and the other is hot wire /flap /pressure sensor. We have to hook it up for karman. And that's the way it shows in the book.

Are you sure you got it hooked up to the right wire. When I first hooked mine up I cut the turbo gauge wire. Thinking it was my Mafs wire. It's always nice to double check. That's about all the help I can give you, Sorry if that doesn't help.
