 That's no BS. Spy has been known to here my particular exhaust note from other parts of town, but this was freaky.I'm headed homeward, and decide to pound a couple gears before the 5 minute stroll to the docking station. First, second third, and off the throttle. I gradually come to a slowdown and eas into my turn ans I roll around the corner and down the road I get this call. Pick it up and hear 'Where are you?!'.... No $h!t, we tested 4 times in a row and it was there every time! No wonder we don't get stopped more. j/k. that is really cool though. At 40 degrees fahrenheit the speed of sound is about 1100 ft/sec disregarding humidity. with 5280 ft/mile it would take about 4.8 seconds for the sound of marcus' 14b powered corner cutter to move a mile. If it took 17 seconds to get to dan's half-naked wife's ears then marcus must have been 3.54 miles away. Dan was right on the money with the 3.5 mile distance guess. -------------------- my cars breath smells like car food

That is damn cool. More reason to plumb the external dump back into the exhaust or not to...depending on how you look at it. "Loud, disturbing, unnecessary noise" tickets are great.
