Well i hate to do it, but with another mini monster on the way she has to go. Anybody know where i can find a newer lancer, altima, or anything nice in the sub 15k range with low miles and some kind of warranty?

Up for sale is my Blue 1998 Camaro SS 6 speed. Pretty much all stock except for the SLP lid and K&N air filter I have put on it. I acquired the car at around 46-47k miles and it now has almost 57k on the clock. Runs great with no problems. In the last few thousand miles I have changed the tranny fluid with GM Syncromesh, Brakes were replaced with Hawk Performance brake pads, fronts and rears (they do squeal lightly at times now though). Oil has always been changed with Mobil 1 Full Syn, Most recent at 55,500. Tires have 10k on them. Known flaws ~ a few scratches on front lower bumper LIP (everyday driving) not bad at all, carpet on passenger side floor has a wear spot but is covered with the floor mat, Paint on the rear hatch under the spoiler and right in front of it looks like it has small cracks in it when you look close at it, and 2 small 3/4 inch scratches on the rear spoiler. It currently has a Clarion stereo set up with the cd receiver, mids up front with tweeters, amp, crossovers, and capacitor, enclosed in box in the rear. The rear speakers are not hooked up they will require another set of crossovers and there are no subs. I am having another kid and need to sell this car to buy another daily driver. All i am asking is the payoff for the car which is 9,182$ and its yours. Take over payments 187.00 month, payoff the car i dont care i just dont have the time or money to keep this car in my garage anymore. Please email me at taxiwardance@hotmail.com if you have any questions. You can view a few pics here, scroll down about half way.

I can get more pics on request.

If you would like to come check the car out pm or email me and i will give you my phone # so we can set up a time. I have fri and sun off usually.

Congrats on the little rascal though!

Thanks for the compliments. Was to short of a partnership with the LS1, I will return 1 day though. But with the rise of the Talon I cant afford 2 fast cars. So I will build up the talon and probably go get a new lancer or something since all of my dsm’s seem to stay running in spurts, its best to keep a running car in the garage. Its been almost 1 year now since I last piloted a DSM (01-31-2005 ~ 1:14AM) sad.gif My time is coming.

Jesus man, if I hadn't just bought a car I would be all over this.

And also, if you are looking for a used car, I am your man. Gimme a ring at work sometime, I have a couple used Altimas in stock right now, as well as a ton of other cars in that price range. A couple of the guys here can vouch for me too.

correct me if I'm wrong though...but whoever buys it is going to have to take out a loan for it themselves, and there is no promise they could keep payments of $187 a month depending on thier term, money down, and finance rate. I don't think you can just "turn over" your loan to someone else.

Ive heard of it being done. Not certain of the logistics involved, but as long as the new payee is qualified, they should be able to adopt ownership of the car, and the name be placed on the title as owner, while the lein holder remains the same.

well yeah, it CAN be done, I'm just saying that its not a sure thing. If one has good credit and the lending institution OKs it, then it wouldn't be an issue. I was just saying there isn't a promise of keeping the same payments.

Most financial institutions offer an option for “change of ownership” which simply is a way to transfer payments and balance to a willing purchaser of the vehicle once their credit is approved. But I called Capitol One today and they told me they don’t have this option. So 3 ways of going about the sale.
1 ~ Bring the money write a bill of sale make everything legal and the title will be mailed to you.
2 ~ Call Capitol One, get approved through their financing department and use the loan account # to transfer the remaining balance to a NEW account with your approved APR and whatever month term you decide on. OR
3 ~ get approved through your bank and have them payoff the loan and become the new lien holder.

What’s messed up is I was planning on buying a new car Friday so I don’t have any down time with no vehicle. I applied through capitol one for the loan and they sent it to Road Loans. A company of which I have never heard of. Same way of doing things as capitol One. They mail a blank check good up to a certain predetermined amount. So I get a next day package to see the terms. Now please remember this loan is for a brand new off the lot in plastic seat covers type of loan. Not a used or person to person. I start browsing through the papers and find what I’m looking for. 15.99% APR for a 72 month term 14.99% for a 60 month term. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!! Last I checked (this week) I have a credit score over 700 and no negative credit. So now I guess I will have to go to Cefcu or something to get approved for a loan. But I have changed employment recently which doesn’t look real good to a bank. Ah hell I need a beater to last me a few months before I buy a new car. This blows. I have a guy coming down from Chicago this week who is ready to buy if he can, but then I’m stuck finding a ride in a hurry if he does go with it. Anybody have a POS for spare change they need to throw out?

if you're buying a new car, it's always best to take the loan through the manfacturer. Thats WAY to high of an interest rate.

I know of a 92 VW GTI $1900 motor only 5K miltes on it. I was going to buy it as a beater car, but have since decided that a beater car is not necessary.

I drove by that way and browsed through the lot last Friday. But I didn’t have time to stay and check things out because I had to make it from Bloomington to Peoria, and had 25 min to do it. Otherwise I would have had my ass beaten by the old lady. I will see if I can do something this Friday afternoon.

All i got to say is you got nice taste, becuase that is a sweet car. i am interested in your car.

Would you take trades?

here is my DD, http://autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=1...ng=en&cardist=0
This car is quick and RELAIBLE

The other thing I can offer is my DSM
1992 Eagle Talon w/123k
- 6 bolt/4 bolt rear end
- marron w/ tan leather
- car is from the southern states
- has PLENTY of mods that can go with it
- cleanest DSM around

I can do $187/month, but I cant refinance the car. I have excellent credit but I am not interested in throwing away a good chunk of change for a down payment.

man whoever takes this is getting a sweet looking ride.

Yes I will do trades + cash or cash + trade. Kind of looking for something low miles and 2000+, would prefer a warranty but open to all offers.

I wish I could do the DSM but hopefully I will have mine on the road soon. Sounds nice though.

Sold along with the hooker catback I had for it. Wasn’t going to do me much good since I have to sell the car. I still have a pacesetter y pipe and o2 Sims and extensions that can go with it.
