No tensioner and no idler pully. The mitsu timing belt alone is like $90... I wouldn't trust it without pics. I like to know that the parts I'm buying came straight from mitsu. I'd say pass on it. Rebuilding a head 6 mos from now will be a lot more than the right parts now.

OEM Mitsubishi parts from the dealer are the fail-safe way to go.

Satan? I prefer, my fellow peers at the Mitsubishi dealership. If you're lucky, you've got a nice parts manager at the local Mitsu dealership. Start ordering $300 worth of parts at a time and he might give you a 15% discount like I've got. After my experience in the world of parts, dealerships (including Mitsubishi) really aren't that overpriced for what you get. Most big ticket items, engines, transmissions, and ECUs, are pretty high priced but when it comes to gaskets, pulleys, and belts, they are pretty economical.

there's a vendor offering 30% off all OEM evo parts on evolutionm.net right now, this would include timing belts. There's no reason not to buy the right parts the first time.

i can get Contitech t-belt kit for cheap... they make OEM parts and oem quailty parts for manufactuers... id say its better than that ebay shit... and its same quailty as oem or even better? pm me if your intrested. I can get an oem headgasket set as well... from the manufactuer that makes it for the dealership and puts the sticker on it... not to make it sound all weird... but i use some of it on my honda too... just like all car manufactuers... the get to choose what company makes what for them... and obviously i found a company that gets the parts from the manufactuer that makes the oem parts for many car manufacters... lol

IMO, OE for things like belts and tensioners is the best you can get.
As far as the headgasket goes, if I were replacing the headgasket, I wouldn't bother putting a stock one back on for what the 4-layer costs. It's only about 30 bucks more and it's plenty more reliable (up to 25psi from what Slowboy says). -------------------- "I hear he tunes the space shuttle also...and that thing is fast"
