http://www.cosworth.com/shop_item.php?productid=398

Saw it in Sport Compact Car Magazine. Cosworth is offering fully CNC ported and polished heads complete with oversized valves and a 5-angle valve cut. Now that Cosworth is freed from Ford, they can do anything they want, so now they offer a wide variety of products for different cars. They cyl. heads for the 4G63 list at just a shade under $3500.

It may be expensive, but you know you are getting well-engineered quality from Cosworth.

Exactly my thoughts. That, and take into consideration a port and polish race head from somebody like FFWD connection can cost up to $1600 and that's without the bigger valves. Not a bad deal if you've got the cash IMO.

You are just buying there name. As AWD DSM 1 pointed out you can get the same thing at one of our locals cheaper than $4000.00

If you look on Buschur you can get motor, head and all Stage III for a little over the same price.

So what your saying is I should buy a pair of air jordans because they have Michael Jordans name on them?

I don't doubt Buschur's head will perform, but come on, you're comparing Buschur to Cosworth. A 10+ year old DSM-based performance shop vs. a 50+ year old performance engineering company that builds engines for F1 cars. That's not just a name. That's a well established, well educated, top of the line company. The air Jordan vs. regular sneaker analogy does not apply.

Plus they actually document their flow results right on their web page. That is something that has been historically difficult to get any DSM performance shop to do.

OK, Well put Nate! I understand your point.

And the shoe analogy is the only big name I could think of off the top of my head, LOL!
