i have the engine pulled out of a 92 eclipse. i pulled the tranny off as well. Does anybody have any advice on where the best place to bolt the engine to a engine
stand? Dont seem to be much to bolt to on the tranny side. Are there better places on the timming belt side?

typically, you would remove the tranny and mount it on the flywheel side to the stand.

should i pull the flywheel off the engine as well?

Yes I would take off everything that you think you are going to remove (off the flywheel side). This way you have no obstructions in the way.

Oh, so you think you're John Rambo and shit pulling this engine with nobody's help? I see how you are. Too cool for school, huh? Glad to hear you got it out. Don't be shy with the questions.
