ASE certified? Warranty on Labor? Insured?

A lot of us do this stuff on the side for ourselves and others, most of us aren't the above. If you're going to advertize your services, I'd hope your a pro.

BTW- your rate and prices don't add up, are you going off book time? 2g clutch took me 9 hours, which I thought was pretty long. 1g should be around 3-4 hours.

I know it sounds like it, but I'm not trying to hate. I hope you get some business, we could use a good DSM mechanic in the area.

Im 20 almost 21, got into dsm's at 16 took a shop class at a community college in highschool. I have owned 95 tsi awd, 91 fwd tsi, 90 gsx, 90 tsi, now i have a 89 colt im swapping in a 4g63 in with a dsm dash for the interior ph34r.gif

I have had countless days/nights working on dsms. My 95 tsi ran 13.7 w 14b and 3" turbo back back when i was 17, the 91 tsi fwd i bought for 700$ and put a 50$ catback ran 14.4. Later on i modded the 95 it had a afc, 680cc, aero afpr, pockelogger, 56trim mitsu housing , 6-bolt swap, southbend dxd series clutch, never went to the track but at 25psi on pump gas the car was like a rocket, blew the hg biggrin.gif

I didnt like the dsm's weight especially the 2g, so i bought the colt.

not insured, no warranty, not ase certified. I never said it wasnt side work.

Located in lake in the hills

That's fine, it just came off as if you were a shop. Be careful, there are some out there who expect the world.
