In an effort to clean out the garage and help fund the Shootout trip, I've set up a system that I think is really neat. I've put an ad on the trader with some of the many parts I have yet for sale. People will put a deposit down, and I'll bring the parts to the shootout for delivery and final payment. I think that this will really help me sell some of these big body panels and interior pieces that would otherwise be a PITA to get rid of.

Why am I telling you all this? Well, I figured that more than one of you certainly has spare parts laying around that you would like to be rid of. If you want, I can help advertise those parts in future ads that I put in the trader, and possibly take them out to Ohio if necessary. There is definately some stuff that I am missing, and I figure I'll check here to see if anyone might have certain parts if they are requested of me, and I don't have them. I don't plan on charging for this unless I end up with enough stuff that I have to rent a bigger truck or someone wants me to handle the money for them. Just trying to lend a helping hand. I know what it's like to have a garage FULL of crap! Just to give you an idea of what I'm talking about, I almost didn't get the lawnmower back in the garage Sat, for lack of space. blink.gif

Let me know what ya think, and if you have anything you want me to mention in my next ad.

Rob

Sounds like a great idea! I'll even cut you a commission on anything of mine you sell. I've got a lot of stock body pieces from the pop-up years. 2 unhacked 1G MAS's, 1 head, and 2 blocks so far. Oh, and a couple of interiors complete too. I'm sure there's more out there but that's it off of the top of my head.

Hey, do either of you guys have a good headliner for a sunroof car? Mine is red/maroon, but I'd be willing to live with dark grey/black if you have matching sun visors.

The fabric is coming loose from my headliner and looking nasty!

I just had a request for the same. I don't have one, but if Travis has 2 we're in luck! If not, marcus get first dibs.

I plan on putting another ad in the Trader in about a week, I'll throw your stuff in there also Travis. If you could, would you PM me with the prices that you are asking for some of the major stuff, what's included (full shortblocks? oil pans?)and maybe condition. I'll let you know if I get any hits on stuff.

I've got one sunroof one. It's grey but I do have the matching visors. The other I have is for a hardtop. I can bring either in to P-town when i trek in this week and you can take a look if you like.

I've got a guy interested in a 1g Eprom ECU, Flywheel (don't know AWD or FWD yet) and some shifter cables with firewall boot and hold downs. If anyone has this stuff, please let me know.

Thanks
Rob

I might be able to take some of those body panels off of your hands Rob. Let me look the car over tomorrow and let you know what I need for sure. biggrin.gif
Oh-Yeah, how much for the seats? What color are they? Are they faded much? Mine are fadded horribly. They are a nasty green color instead of black!

They are the usual grey color. Might be faded a bit. I got your e-mail, too, so just let me know what you are interested in, and I can get you pics, or you can just come over sometime. Heck, if you bring the car over, I might even be able to help with swaping some of that stuff over.

Yeah, I'll probably just bring the car over sometime and kinda pick through what you have. I'll let you know what I've got free. I dont have too much spare cash because I used what I had on the car, but in probably a week or 2 i'll shoot you a PM or an e-mail. I looked and it looks like I need probably all 4 fenders and maybe a front bumper. But I'm pretty sure you only have the front pass fender and rear bumpers?

Chances are good that whatever Rob doesn't have I do as far as parts, body, panels, or seats. Shoot me a PM if you guys need any you don't have there.

Also, you mentioned needing all 4 fenders. You know the fronts are bolt on but the rear quarters are welded in there right?

Yeah, i just noticed that the rears are welded. That sucks because the worst rusting onm the whole car is inside the doorwell right where the little interior lights switch is. That sucks. Maybe I can have just that piece replaced because pretty much the rest of the rust on the car is surface rust.
