BHP or WHP, curb weight, 0-60, quarter, etc. of 1st and 2nd gen N/A 4 cylinders is what I'm lookin' for. Stock or modded w/mod list.

I know it's all about FI, but I have this little (non-DSM) 4 cylinder I have to live with and am wondering about comparisons. She's 180bhp @ 2600 lbs with power delivery at high revs (fuel cut = 8300).

I don't see much beef on here about N/A performance. What could those 1st 2 gen's do?

Thanks.

I think the 1st gen 2.0 NA's are around 130hp at the flywheel, and probably weigh around 3000#. A few guys have stuck turbo's on the na's, but other than that I think people have figured out that the turbo's are a lot smarter to start with in the first place.

Well, in all honesty, it was about knowing whether I could roast the N/A 4 cylinders or not with this thing. tongue.gif

My old 2.4L galant ran 16.3@82 in a quarter. That's 160-170crank horses and around 3200pounds.

I think this thing runs 14s - but it's all speculation for now.

My son asked after I got it whether he was going to have to drive it up to Cordova with me next time so I could run both. *Laughs*

I told him no ... but ... *shrugs*

i would tack on an extra second or two, to the 14 second guesstimate.........

Sorry, you're right. 15's now, 14's after it's tuned in a few short weeks. But it's all just a guess.
