I have brand new, still in box hydraulic Engle Racing cam with 480 lift 274 dur. on intake and exhaust, Iskenderian racing hydraulic lifters, and valve springs good to a .520 lift. These parts should be good to over 7000 rpm's in a small block.

I was saving them for when I got around to doing my 350 in a small car but I don't see that happening in the near future so I might be willing to let them go.

I got over being pissed at my car for being broken over a year or two ago. wink.gif

The four bolt small block and cam parts is starting to sound appealing. cool.gif

To back up my claims for those that have only known my DSM adventrues. I've still got a 46 Ford truck that I stripped, cut the entire frame apart, rewelded back together with all tubular cross supports at a narrow gage to fit a MustangII front suspension crossmember (Regular Street Rod swap), boxed in the frame at the ends for stiffness, fabricated new spring perches for the rear and bolted in a Chevy Rear suspension at that narrow gage by removing and re-welding new mounts on the axle housing. Custom motor mounts for a Ford small block and new cab supports were all fabbricated and welded on as well. In short I had total disregard for most of what the engineers had designed this truck for and made it the way I wanted and could afford at the time.

This spirit still runs through every project I do, it's just temperd a bit now by nowing the less things you change at one time the better chances you have of getting thigs running a lot quicker.

AWD on the CRACK. biggthumpup.gif

Is that 274 adv? That seems like a very small cam for 7000rpms.

Then again, I wouldn't go with a hydraulic again unless it was a roller.

I've got a 454 shortblock if you'd really want to go big.

I hate all things 5.0....

I've got a .060 4 bolt block in the shed, it might clean up nice with a hone.

Even got a spare engine stand to put the project engine on...
