As much as I love Advance Auto Parts, and they love me, I've found my path. State Farm is calling my name and it's time to step into reality and face my career. For now, its a small step-in-the-door job working as a Supply and Distribution Specialist, but it'll be worth it just to get my name in. I'm really going to miss the discount but SF is giving me more money, slightly more hours while still allowing for my night classes at Heartland, and I get the weekends off and no more nights!!!! I'm sooo excited! The Camaro is getting a few new toys when I get the chance too.

I'm surprised more DSM owners don't work at parts stores... the discount alone could save us thousands a year! laugh.gif

^^you and me both! It's already saved me plenty with the two cars I have.

Bret, I'll be in Flexible Storage on Rhodes Ln. just west of Corporate South there. Pretty much a cakewalk for a job. Pickup package, scan it into the system, put it where it needs to go, repeat.

Not sure. I'll know when I go to drug testing and to update my application. Hopefully it'll be the 18th.

It's hard not to spend money in that place while you work there isn't it?

We've got so many parts we can get that I never knew about. Stainless brake lines, Hawk and EBC pads, Eibach springs, MSD and Accel wires, KYB struts.... and the list goes on.
