Well I put the intake back on fired her up and everything seemed to be ok except for the starter squealing after putting it back in and I still have a high idle, but I think that is now because the throttle plate is open a bit too far so that is not that big of a deal at the moment.

When it started up it ran alot smoother that before and sounded pretty good. Problem is when I took it out for a drive I am getting NO boost. 5K in second at WOT and no boost what so ever. In fact the boost/vac gauge does not even make it to zero. I checked the turbo and it looks ok there is no shaft play and it spins freely.

Could it be that the wastegate stuck open or that the mbc is f'd up? When I put it all together I let it run for a couple of minutes and then I revved it up and when it hit about 6K I heard a pop and saw a small puff of smoke but I don't know where it came from.

Well I decided to pull the turbo to have a closer look at everything and...............

looks good, spins freely, and no shaft play

my parents always told me I would lose my head if it wasn't attached.........has anybody seen my turbine wheel? I seem to have misplaced it

Nevermind. I found it

I really need to start proofreading. Changed compressor wheel to turbine wheel. DUH.
