I nominate Dave Netter's Stealth and Nate Ennis' TSi because I know they both got some new toys recently and are most likely the two fastest cars on this board with the exception of AWDNOT2.
Let's put this thing on speed guys. Nominations are till midnight, then we'll put a poll up of the nominees and voting will end tomorrow at midnight. -------------------- my cars breath smells like car food

I think Kris should be added to that nomination list.

In the true spirit of the post maybe the three of them should race for it.

QUOTE (spyonu2007 @ Jul 8 2003, 07:38 AM) I forsee this being a heated area, with AWD4kicks, Natedogg, Kriss, Josh, Netter, Rob and (when it runs) Koun3 chomping at the bit... We all know that Darryl has the fastest track car... Who here really has the fastest street car? Not I! Hell, mine seems to like the garage more than the road. Hey I got an Idea... BCOTM... Broke car of the month! -------------------- The fastest car I own is a minivan....

QUOTE (spyonu2007 @ Jul 8 2003, 07:38 AM) Car of the month, IMO should include cars that are cosmetically apealing. Specifically glossy shine, in that case I will vote for netters car. No offense to Nate or Kris intended, but that dased blackness needs some help bud... I disagree. I believe all factors should be considered when choosing COTM. But body prettiness least of all. I mean seriously fellas, are we here because we like our cars to be pretty or because we like our cars to be fast. My vote would have to go to Kris, because his car has the most ingenuity and has seen more work from big projects to small details than any one else's car that I know of and it also seems to break the least...unless curbs are involved. |

Heh heh...I like the FCOTM! Screw the norm. We're DSM's and more so than not, we are all about performance. I'll have to think about this one, I like the random drawing of two folks that battle it out for the title too. Hmmm...

Well, I already voted but here's my thoughts (for what they're worth). When it gets down to it I think people will vote along the lines of the type of car they appreciate. Given that we're largely a group of performance obssessed freaks I'm betting the COTM will always have a slant in that direction.
Given the amount of 1G's on here I don't think there'll be a huge emphasis on looks. Hey I love 'em but they're not exactly a head turner to most. Had to laugh a bit at Spy's call for shiny paint though as I'm planning on painting my whole car flat black. I have to say I was a bit torn on which way to vote. Kris's car and the direction he's taken it truly appeals to me. And in a lot of ways I've done my best to rip off his enginuity where I could OK there's my essay. And just like when I was in school I'm turning it in late. -------------------- |
