don't know the price... but one helpful hint is to mark your turbo for clock position prior to disassembly so that you know exacty the way it goes... most turbo's have infinate clock positions.

I haven't had that particular repair done Todd so I can't help you with an amount either. When I have had problems, the mfg. of each turbo I've had has been very helpful in giving me prices and info. over the phone when they can. I get the feeling Turbonetics should have as good or better customer service than some that I have delt with.

If you're feeling frisky and want to try it yourself here is a pretty good set of instructions. http://www.vfaq.com/mods/Turbo-rebuild.html

This is aimed at 14b/16g turbos but unless yours is BB I would imagine its a similar process.

Personally, I don't trust myself to get everything back together exactly as it came so that the shaft is balanced. I would probably send it to a turbo rebuild shop so that when the seals are replaced, they can balance it and make sure that it's safe to put back into service.

Place down south the standard is $350. Anyone got a good T3/T4 57trim or anything comprable laying around?
