Since I've come to realize the Magnacor wire on the Talon are of undetermined age...at least 4 years old, I'm looking for another set. What's everybody running and are there any out there to watch out for. Maganacor seem to be held in high regard, but $90-100 for plugs, they better be good. biggrin.gif Anybody use NGK's?

I use Taylor from Winner's Circle for about half the price of Magnacore's. They have been proven for years in the Domestic market.

I've been extra cautious though and added about $30 worth of a special protective insulation to the wires (Also from Winner's Circle). I like the look better and since they were for a V8 I have enough to do them all over again if needed.

I had a good set of Accel competition wires that worked well for me for 3 years.

I also tried a set of Taylors but didn't have the good results that Marcus is having. My set had a tendency to arc at the connection to the coil pack.

I'm using COP now, but that is a good bit more expensive than wires.

I've had good luck with my Accel wires as well.

Accel is what I had on the Talon and they performed flawlessly. There's a good review on plug wires on dsmtuners.com. MSD comes in first with Accel very nearly behind. For half the price of the MSD's and close to the same performance, Accel is a good choice.
