YOu betcha!! That's only happened to me on every DSM I've owned, save for the one sitting in my garage at the moment. The rebuild kit for the slave cylinder usually doesn't fit, so I usually just put a whole new unit on. About $15 last time I checked.

the reservoir was bone dry. so i think the slave went. i originally thought i had burst a line or something. while i am replacing the slave, i am gonna throw on a braided stainless clutch line.
