The other weekend i ended up taking my first fight. I just went to watch but they needed someone close to my weight so i did it. I have been training for about 9 months now as much as i can even though im going to school full time. but i have been wrestling since i was in 1st grade so that just comes natural in fighting. but anyways here is a video. I'm assuming that was you that won with the darker hair?
Nice dump, you seem to have the takedown aspect of this down! I kept waiting for you to take his back, he left it open pretty wide, but then he tried a one armed choke from the side?!? What a waste of energy. God fight man, you did well! |

Thanks guys, its alot of fun. training is horrible but the fight itself is a blast. Will keep you guys updated if i have anymore fights soon.

 Nice double leg takedowns. That guy seemed way too casual at first. You seemed to really surprise him with the quick shoot.  Good side control too and excellent job posturing up when you had the full mount. Is this local? I'd like to catch a local fight sometime when I get back. It was a local fight, But i live here in Ottumwa, Iowa. pretty sure its like 4 or so hours from you guys.
I was weighing like 165 when i fought, But im going to be going down to 155, I have got down to 160 already. Before i first started training i weighted 178. So i have lost alot of weight already. I was getting pretty fat. Im like 6.1 so ill be a big 155 pounder. -------------------- WWW.DRAGSOURCE.NET

Wow, 6'1'' is pretty tall for 155.
I assume you watch UFC. The 155 lb class is amazing right now, but then again, 170 is pretty sick as well. Isn't Millitich(sp) in Davenport, IA? Good fight though, keep the thread updated if/when you fight again. -------------------- my cars breath smells like car food

ya the millitich camp is in davenport. I have a couple people i work out with that used to go up there. I would like to go train at other places but just to busy with school right now. I just got into this to stay in shape and to just do it for fun. So im just having fun with it right now.
