I went to that alignment shop a couple of weeks ago after some front end work was done and the setup my car to specs.... after that the car was definately better, but pulled a little to the left.... I thought that I could live with it, but finally decided that I could not.
so, today returned to the alignment shop and put the car back on the rack to find that the car's measurements have not changed that much, but we re-set the car up and I drove it.... it still pulls left, funny cause according to the measurements, it should pull right if any due to caster (unfortunately not adjustable)

so we started contemplating what was wrong and the tech measured the ride height from the ground to the center of the wheels well on the right side and got 23.5 inches
left side measured 22.75 inches

measured the rear and got similar results

how does the left side of my car sit 3/4 of an inch lower than the right???

I am thinking that possably I have a bad set of springs, they are Eibach prokit springs and non adjustable KYB GR-2 struts and shocks

any idea's???

Did you corner weigh the car?

Also, you are always on the left side when you drive. A little load over time on those springs and they shall sag.

There is little to no weight in an S-10 in the rear, yet almost all of them will sag in the ass over time. another note on the dime: gas tank is on left side. When it's dropped, there is always a lean on the left side.

I suspect your DSM has the same thing going.

the springs only have 2 or so years on them... could this sag happen over 2 years

When I got my 93 GSX I noticed that from the rear it looked like the left side was lower than the right. So, I measured it and it was about half an inch lower on the left than the right. The car was only 8 months old at the time. It never pulled to the left, though. I never bothered to do anything about it.

yours was a manufacturer demo too wasn't it??? 8 months on stock springs.... 2 years on eibachs.... interesting, looks like I just have to live with it....

maybe I could swap them left to right, rotate them so to speak, or can I?

Yeah, someone at the plant drove it about 15K before it went to the dealer.

I'm not sure that swapping them would do anything for your pulling to the left problem.

Did you check the alignment with you in the driver's seat? This can make a difference sometimes.

Have you checked the tires? A bad tire can cause a pull. Try swapping tires front to rear, and/or left/right if possible to see if problem goes away or get's worse.

yes, did align with me in it also....

and I know it is not tires.... it pulled with street tires and slicks and swapped left to right with slicks... still pulls left....

with car in air turned both front wheels to check for dragging caliper and both spun with same resistance

I know that the caster is out of spec (not adjustable) but the caster readings should puth the car pulling right, not left.... but maybe it is time for some RRE caster/camber plate kits to correct that too, just to remove that from the equation

I still think that the lower left side is playing a part in this
