Forgive me if this is in the wrong section, feel free to move wherever.

As always, this is subject to change but you should be able to mark your calendars.

As events are added, I'll update this post. If anyone wants an event added to the schedule, post it up or shoot me a PM.

2008 CCSCC/CIR/HISCC Schedule

April 5 - AutoX School - Rantoul
April 6 - Test n Tune - Rantoul
April 19 & 20 - Rantoul
May 3 - Parkland College
May 17 & 18 - Rantoul
May 31 & June 1 - Rantoul
June 21 & 22 - Coles County
July 12 & 13 - Rantoul
August 2 & 3 - Coles County
August 16 & 17 - Rantoul
August 30 & Sept 1 - Rantoul
Sept 13 & 14 - Rantoul
Oct 18 & 19 - Rantoul

Keep in mind that for an SCCA event, you must be an SCCA member or sign up for a temporary membership at registration.

It is predicted that most of the events listed currently will not be SCCA insured/sanctioned events. This, of course, is subject to change at any time!

Mark your calendars!! biggrin.gif

How much are temporary membership's for SCCA events?

I would like to try this, hopefully they'll be some dates that work with the Cordova Brackets schedule.

Temporary (weekend) memberships are usually $15 plus whatever the event fee is, so usually $30 or 35 due at the event. The cool thing is that when you get a weekend membership, it is good for $15 off your year membership (up to $30). Annual memberships are $45 for the first gear membership if you are 24 or younger and $65 for a full membership. There is no difference between the full membership and the top gear membership besides the price. (The scca is trying to lure in kids at a cheaper rate and get them hooked) Also, mention one of your friends or someone in the scca already and you can get another discount on your year membership!

Question - What does a blow-off valve do in a car?
----------------------------------------
Several eons ago when I was sixteen, I recall being blown off by a
number of girls while in a car. However, there was no valve involved.

Do you have to be 18 for this?
