last night i boosted pretty high and let off and i think maybe i caused a vacum leak of some sort,

the car wont idel very well,

the turbo wont spool, the boost gauge never goes above the zero, it stays between -7 and 0 when in the throttle

theres a siren liek noise that increases as i apply the throttle..

ideas?

Sounds like you may have blown off an intercooler pipe. Check for boost leaks.

I was thinking it may be a innercooler problem to,

Would that cause a howling siren noise to get louder as i apply the throttle..

The howling noise could be the compressed air escaping the system whether its an intercoller pipe, coupling or the intercoller it's self.

my innercooler pipes and couplings appear to be good, any other ideas??

is it common for the innercooler itself to go bad?

do a boost leak test, and then remove the mbc until you get a boost gauge.

Check the inlet and outlets of the stock side mount. They are prone to corrosion and can develop pinholes. And it's an inTercooler. And what is "pretty high?"

I belive part of the problem is the driver/ mechanic.

Realistically im just goign to take off all the intake pipe and inercooler pipes and inspect them tonight and put them back together..

i will also check and make sure mty turbo is not seized up or anything like that. The car ran low on coolant around them same time this happened so it may have part in it.

after doing alot of research while milking the clock at work i came across alot of information that leads meto belive it is in fact the turbo.

I will keep you all updated tonight as the results should be in.

Did you check for play in the turbo? In/out or side to side play? Does the compressor housing have rub marks from the blades?

When I trashed my turbo (no oil flow) the turbo spun but wouldn't spool worth a damn=no boost. Made a horrible noise also.

The turbo doesn't have to seize, the bronze bushings wear out and compressor blades hit the housing and then won't build up enough rpm to build boost.

My opinion would be to have the car looked at by one of the seasoned members of the board... Truthfully, your problem could be any number of things, and it's likely that someone that has been running these cars for a long time would see the flaw in a short time. There is a lot to be said for experience with these cars.

And... why do you have a 2g BOV? That seems awfully counterproductive.

Seems like you lost a pulley... got toast? Seriously, thats no good. Pull the timing cover and assess the damage.
