Well more bad news a cam cap bolt broke off in the head on saturday. I was torquing it down with my torque wrench set at 15 ft. lbs and the thing just snapped. So does anyone want to help me fix it or should I just take it to the machine shop and leave it to a professional. I also would like someone to check the head to make sure I assembled the cams properly.

Is any of the bolt above the surface of the head? If so you might be able to turn it out with a pair of plyers. With that little bit of torque (15lb) on it, I can't beleive it be stuck in there too hard.

Sadly enough it is below the surface, one of my friends suggested just take it to mulvains and see if they can take care of it.

make sure you use a spring loaded center punch (makes a dimple so your drill bit doen't walk), then use a drill to drill out a pilot hole first, then use the smallest easy out you have to remove it (to prevent bugering up the threads)... if you do not feel comfortable doing this I would just take it and leave it up to the professionals.
