I love this show and what it's doing for drag racing. It gives normal car nuts a chance to go out and play and maybe win a pile of cash. I wanted to go when they were in St. Louis last year, but couldn't make it. I'd suggest anyone go that's able, it's well worth the trip!

Yeah. A guy on ClubCav is running his boosted J Body on July 11th in Michigan and my cousin was on there for his painting/airbrushing and whatnot.

Awesome show. Now we just need a sick DSM on there.

I don't know that i'd call it "sick", but I saw the one in AZ where this guy had an AWD Mirage and made it into the 16:

Said it had an Evo motor and drivetrain.

I saw the episode with the AWD mirage. It was funny to watch the kid be 2 cars behind and the turbo would spool up and he'd blow by the other car. It looked like a pile, but who cares! biggthumpup.gif

That always makes for good TV, so to speak. I video'd the SCDC a few years ago when AMS brought their EVO and faced a Pro 5.0 Magazine Mustang (New body with a pushrod and then some in a tube chassis). Stang got the holeshot, 1/8 mile came and the EVO started walking the dog on him.

BEAUTIFUL biggthumpup.gif
