welcome to the board Kim I hope you enjoy the board and if you have any other questions feel free to ask. If your looking for options for your 3gen Eclipse I know neweclipse.org has some stuff. As for meets there is suppose to be one in Cordova i believe coming up I don't know much about it off the top of my head someone else here will. There is also a car show in Decatur on the 25th but I don't know if a lot of people from here will be going except me (sorry spy biggthumpup.gif ).

Hey, thanks for the welcome. I've got a buddy who is in neco - a cougar car club...and he loves it. I'm not sure what kind of stuff I want to do to my car... I have no idea where or how to begin either.... But, I am interested in it. You mentioned a meet or something in Cordova. Where is that? I'm close to St. Louis...and I know Decatur is a 4 hours from me or so...Do most of you guys live up that way? Or is anyone closer to me..?

Startig out can be the most difficult thing. Just be careful and not to cared away with buying mods. You can bury yourself in a hole pretty quickly and not realize it. If you like the way your performs now then, go with appearance mods. If you like more power then start out with performance mods. I started off by lowering and putting new rims on my. Here is where you can see before and after pics.

I drive a GS 5-speed. Wasn't sure if I wanted a manual when I bought it...but
Now I love it!! I get compliments on it..but when I tell guys it's a stick, they get excited. What is it with guys and stick shifts? What color is yours Speedracer?

Hey JBONE, what chapter of neco does your friend belong to? Gateway or Land of Lincoln? Just curious so I could tell my neco buddy.
