Well boredom has sat in and im looking for a project car. Does anyone know where i could find a 1G preferably a 92-94, but would settle for a 90-91 if the price is right AWD E/L/T with a bad motor and/or tranny or none at all for 500 or less, good body preferred but not necessary if can be fixed easily, likewise for the interior. I thought a junkyard would be a good place to look, but i figure that cars there would be gutted so badly that it wouldnt be worth trying to fix.

*edit* Not a big hurry on it yet, need my income tax return first, but would like to see what i can find *edit*

You can have my 90 Tsi AWD for $1000 with no motor or tranny. Excellent exterior and Pristine interior. Only 123,000 on the clock. Pics here.

That looks like a pretty nice car to start with. 1000 is alittle more than what i had in mind, but i should get alot back next month or so on my tax return so i may ask ya then if you still have it.

Still have my caged chassis. $400 takes it away. Nice platform for an all out DSM IMHO. Bettting Rob's has nicer daily driver potential given his recent history of bringing home pristine 1G's though.

how is the interior of it? With the cage in it, is all the plastic gone?
