My clutch just started slipping at WOT yesterday in third gear or higher.
I'm thinking either I'm leaking some oil onto it, the pressure plate bolts came loose, or the Star Stage 2 just isn't a long lasting clutch(only about 4k miles on it). Strange thing is, it was fine when I left my parent's house in Quincy, but it did it once on the highway right before I got into Champaign-Urbana, I thought maybe it was a fluke. Of course, its still doing it tonight. Guess I'll have to tear into it sometime soon to find the prize inside. -------------------- Eric Wort

The output shaft to the transfer case has a tendancy to leak and make the clutch slip. At least that's what happened to my 93 GSX. Clutch was actually still ok, just too much oil on it to grab anything.

I've seen the Star clutch slip when really hot like after a run or two down the quater mile. Normally it comes back to it's grabby self after a good cool off period though. Hopefully it's nothing terrible.

That's the funny thing, it slipped after lightly rolling into WOT after 3 hours of straight highway driving, so I'm almost ruling out normal wear and tear. I'm planning on doing a bleed and/or master cylinder rod adjustment first to see if that will make any difference, doubt it though.
