Make sure the darn oil cooler is tight the next time you change the filter!
Scared the crap out of me, I was in the middle of a moderately hard launch when smoke started rolling out like it was a Nascar. :x The car blew out a couple quarts of brand new Mobil One right out of the cooler. I had to limp it a few blocks with marginal oil pressure. Had a little bit of lifter noise when I shut it down, but it was fine when everything was tightened down. Time to look it over again tonight, I guess. -------------------- Eric Wort

yeah, I did something similar to that on my motorcycle once. it was a gusher.
Once I poured an entire 5 quart jug of oil into my dsm without having the drain plug in yet, that was a mess. |
