Was too busy raping the other cars on hand for a new knock sensor. (maybe Wortdog won't notice if I swap his out while it's taking up my shop space).

I'll have somethin' for ya shortly Spy. I've gone 0 for 2 against you in the beaters though so far. sad.gif

Maybe I just didn't realize I'd have to take the car out of limp mode to beat ya. tongue.gif

Stutterbox is going to be installed next time and we'll have to go from a dig. And when there's snow down, and any other advantage I can find.

sadly, i didn't get a chance to make it out to the meet. two good friends and co-members of deviant tuning were on hand though and said it was a great meet. gsxracer80 and our buddy jracer were both telling me about some of the cars. i'll definitely have to make it out next time a meet gets thrown.

on another subject... dear lord, a 60 mph rolling start?! that ain't a rolling start, fellas, that's a RUNNING start! any particular reason, other than one of you is sportin' mad power on a FWD platform?

My knock sensor is starting to leak anyway, you don't want it. You may just have to break down and get one from SATAN, assuming I didn't mess up the wire swap. Speaking of the dealer, I think I'm going to go shake them down tomorrow about why I don't have my tranmission seal yet.

'Borrowing' the one from Frankenstein to see if it cures the problem first. Autobone has them for $50 with a two day wait as well.

They raced in lower gears as well. If I remember right, I believe Spy had the advantage in the lower gears. Even at 9000 RPM. wink.gif

i also wouldn't mind seeing this as well, however a) you'll have to wait six months until he gets his walking papers from the marine corp. and cool.gif i'm not sure if he'll give that car a proper flogging until he's done some of the more common 'longevity' mods/fixes to the Seven. hell, i know i wouldn't step foot in the car until a few of those were taken care of.

at least he's got the will power to stay out of the boost. he was home in early december on leave and there were only a few times when i wasn't sittin' shotty, and even though it was his first time seeing, let alone driving, the car, he still handled it like a champ (i.e. driver + car / seat = 1). i also wouldn't mind seeing ben (gsxracer80) try him; ben's gsx pulls hard and never quits.

It really was a great meet. We should really do it more often. Spyonu, you know I was only able to pace you because of my light weight PVC intake biggrin.gif .

hey spy, i realize that I have been talking a lot of smack, although I may lose in the race against your beast of a gs-T. I still want to race just because I like to race, even with great odds against me it is still fun!!!

I guess we'll just have to see how things pan out for us. cool.gif
