first of all what is the weight of a stock 16" wheel from a 91,

anyone know off hand, Im shopping for wheels and tires right now

a little off topic from this guys question but, Travis, I saw that you had a set of 3rd gen take offs for sale on KOU Motorsports web page, whats the compatability with a 1G, and what are the exact specs (size, weight, ect...)

Specs: Direct bolt-on. Same dimensions across the board as far as width, offset, etc.

Weight: ~16pounds on the post office scale with valve stems


On topic: From when I weighed last, I believe the stock 1G rims weigh in at around 23 pounds apiece for most of the alloy wheels (~2 pounds less for the Laser mesh wheels)

Nope, 16's. Even swapped the worn tires onto a set of 1G wheels from these Enkeis.




And I torpedo my own sale again... when will I learn. unsure.gif

you guys wouldnt happen to know the wieght of the 2g (97-99) gsx wheels (17" 5 double spoked) is? I think they also put these wheels on a few of the third gens too, not sure which model...
