I am looking locally and can't figure out who sells Chiltons books. I know that Advance Auto and Auto slut both sell Haynes books but not chiltons, but I also know that Chiltons always has more detail in their books, and detailed help is what I need, I would buy a shop service manual from mitsu, but I don't wanna spend $140 on a frickin' book

If you 'lost' your factory manual I know where you could buy the back-up version on CD for five bucks wink.gif

where can i get the cd? when i got rid of the talon i also got rid of both the huge factory talon engine/chassis and electircal manuals. im the kind of person who needs those.

my g/f just got the haynes or whatever for her talon and it seems to be pretty complete. you could try farm and fleet in morton, they have some big manuals but im not sure on the name (haynes, chilton,...)

If you don't restrict yourself to local shops, here is a link to an auction on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=2456906394

Automanualtrader is the seller and they have tons of them for sale. I don't think many even get a bid on them so you should be able to get it for the minimum bid of $7.50 + $3.95 s&h.
