I've heard of these also. I heard a rumor they actually put them on some production jags in the late eighties, early nineties, just a rumor though. I don't know much about jags.

Never actually looked for these e-controlled dumps though.

The other day I was thinking that it would be really cool to do that using a 3" throttle body and a pnumatic(sp) actuator with a 10-15# or so spring in it. That way your cutout would open under boost by itself. And if you wanted an electric switch you could use a BCS for it. I'll never end up doing it, but its a really cool idea.

I never got into the electric ones, but I know Summit Racing sells them and I think that Jegs sells them too in a manual version with a cable fed into the cockpit of your now free-flowing rocket!!!

No problem.

I'm thinking about doing this on the Mutt. I don't currently have enough room underneath for a full dual exhaust, or even a single 3 inch setup. I'm thinking about putting a pair in right after the header collectors. Would proly try the cheap cable operated ones first to make sure it's worth the effort, $300+ is a lot of change for a pair of them..... and I like the way the current exhaust sounds for around the town crusing.
